Here's to wishing my friend's list a very happy New Year's Eve and an even more awesome 2010 :)
I'm on my way now to go out for a curry with Steve--he thinks we need to get out of the house, and we don't have Iain tonight so we figured why not. He got off at noon, so he's in a particularly happy mood, and it's not often that we get a date night, let alone one that's so conveniently timed. I'm still slightly under the weather, but I've been living off of sudafed and Lockets for the past two days, and it's bearable for now. If it doesn't clear up in a week or so, I'll go to the doctor just in case it decides it wants to be a sinus infection or bronchitis.
Then it's time to get shitfaced, and play WoW since he got his account unfrozen today. There's tons of shit missing, but Blizzard said his claim was forwarded to the GM team who will sort things out and get his stuff back to him within a couple of days. He's just happy to be able to play, even if he has to tinker on low level alts since his 80s are a bit crippled.
And I learned today that the UK has much better boxed wine selections than the US as far as I know--we got a box today since it was easier than buying 4 seperate bottles of wine, and they were the same price for the same amount. Later in January we'll be having tons of beer with Conception in Bournemouth, so for now it's wine.
I must also mention that Steve did the impossible--he found a bracelet that fits my abnormally big wrists--or maybe they've gotten smaller. I dunno, but it's nice and shiney and I'm wearing it tonight since I can.
